- DPC 003, Selected Personnel in Milk Sanitation. This guideline is a compilation of official milk regulatory personnel in DPC member states, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, FDA, Milk Safety Branch, and the USDA Dairy Division, Market Administrators and Standardization & Grading Branch.
- DPC 032, Component Test Variations in Raw Milk (Fat, Protein, Other Solids). This guideline discusses many possible reasons for component (fat, protein, other solids) test variations in raw milk. It provides information regarding proper milk sampling techniques, references laboratory component testing methods and explains reasons for variations between DHIA and handler component tests. Additionally, the guideline covers the basics of a wide range of farm production practices that can influence component test results.
- DPC 109, Automatic Milking Systems- Questions Dairymen Need To Ask. This guideline is designed to give farmers that are considering purchasing and installing a robotic milking system (automatic milking system) a list of questions that they need to consider when making their decision.
All DPC guidelines go through an extensive peer review process. Click here for more information on the peer review process.
