U.S. genetic evaluations now available for Canadian Jerseys

Working with the American Jersey Cattle Association (AJCA) and JC, the organization has been able to implement a process to provide this service, which became effective Oct. 1.

Requests to obtain U.S. values can be made by the owner via email to HC or at (855) 756-8300 ext. 600 (or 603 in French). The following information should be provided:

• Complete registration number (country code, sex and number, e.g. CANFXXXXXXX)

• Complete animal name

• Complete ownership information including name, mailing address, telephone number, email address

With every proof release following the request AJCA will email the resulting genomic evaluations to the owner. HC will invoice the client $44 for females and $390 for males plus applicable taxes.  PD
