Vitalix acquires Uniblok Canada

Vitalix founder and owner Greg Olson says, “The Uniblok company’s values align with ours. And the purchase allows Vitalix to expand offerings in Canada, as they produce a quality product that does not directly compete with our products.”

Uniblok’s current employees, including management, will continue at the facility in Rockyford, Alberta, with assistance from the Vitalix staff including a Ph.D. nutritionist. Knowledgeable field staff will assist producers and dealers with nutrition and management questions.

Vitalix has been in operation since 1989, based out of Alliance, Nebraska. It’s a family business with many small-company attributes, although it’s been expanding steadily since acquiring new plants in the U.S. in 2012 and 2013. Since this newest acquisition, the company is now producing top-quality supplements in four plants throughout the U.S. and now Canada.
