Fun and easy yogurt breakfast snack ideas
Yogurt is a delicious and nutritious way to kick-start your morning and fuel up for the day ahead. One of my go-to breakfast foods is a strawberry, blueberry yogurt smoothie. However, for June Dairy Month this year, I wanted to change up my morning routine a bit and learn a few new quick and easy breakfast treats that include yogurt. I’m not a yogurt expert, but I am pretty cultured (pun intended!).
The main ingredient that you will need is yogurt. I recommend a Greek vanilla yogurt that is high in protein. It’s what I used for my treats, and to me it tasted like a sweet, creamy version of ice cream. If you don’t want to take my word for it, try it for yourself.
To get started, here are a few of the ingredients and supplies you will need, depending on the treat you choose.
Main ingredient: Yogurt
Toppings:
- Blueberries
- Strawberries
- Raspberries
- Bananas
- Honey
- Peanut butter
- Sprinkles
Additional food items:
- Cheerios
- Toast
- Granola
- Waffle cones
Non-food items:
- Skewers
- Popsicle sticks
- Popsicle mold
