Tru-Test Fence Monitoring System from Datamars Livestock

Datamars Livestock has smart solutions to help farmers, ranchers and producers ensure their livestock are secure 24-7 with the Tru-Test Fence Monitoring System. Solar-powered nodes placed along an electric fenceline continuously monitor voltage and send automatic alerts through the Datamars Livestock website or mobile app whenever a drop in voltage is detected.

The Tru-Test Fence Monitoring System works with any brand of energizer.

You can run up to 50 fence nodes with one Farm Gateway interface that collects information from the nodes, passes it through the cloud and straight to any smart device so a problem can be fixed before livestock have a chance to escape. The tough, weatherproof Farm Gateway attaches easily to a barn or house wall. The easy-to-install nodes monitor up to 1,640 feet of fenceline and record a measurement every two minutes. The system allows for 50 fence monitoring nodes and can be installed at key fence sections across your farm. To extend the number of fence sections monitored, simply add more nodes. Farmers, ranchers and producers can reduce workload and time by no longer having to physically check miles of fence and have peace of mind, even with remote locations, thanks to instant alerts that identify problems immediately.

Nutri-Graze from Ralco

Nutri-Graze is a pasture product that helps beef producers reduce off-farm feed costs by increasing their forage production.

Nutri-Graze has been thoroughly researched and shown to increase nutrient availability to plants. It uses Ralco’s proprietary Microbial Catalyst and an organic carbon source to stimulate microbial activity and unlock enzymes that break down nutrients tied up in the soil and release them in a plant-available form. On average, soil tests show 6% more available carbon and 7.5% more available nitrogen.

Initial Nutri-Graze research studies show an average yield increase of 25.9% in treated pastures which equates to an additional 1,555 pounds of total dry matter per acre.

Additionally, Nutri-Graze pastures exhibited +4.77 percentage point increase in in vitro true digestibility (IVTD) and +1.02 percentage point increase in crude protein. IVTD measures the total amount of available energy in forage to an animal.
