A collaborative research and extension team, which includes faculty from Washington State University, University of Idaho, USDA ARS, University of Florida and the University of Missouri, will be offering a dairy cattle genomics workshop on Oct. 4 in Madison, Wisconsin.
Topics to be discussed include the following: "Genomics and Fertility Research Update," "Impact of Genomic Selection in Dairy Cattle” and "Where Do We Go From Here – and When Will We Get There?"
Who should attend? Dairy producers and managers, veterinarians, allied industry and extension faculty. Experience with genomics is not required.
