The Renovo Seed OptiHarv forage mix makes baleage that’s “thicker than snot,” as trial growers say. It produces immense tonnage for bales, or you can hay it or graze it, too. Diminish the domino effect of stress in dairy cattle with a new feed additive

Brought to you by Fortiva, the Amulet feed additive contains unique feed technology designed to help both dairy calves and cows overcome the potential impact of stress. The bioactive compounds and active microbials of the additive support ruminal and intestinal health when metabolic demands are at their greatest, including transition stages, diet changes and transportation. Research observed that the inclusion of the additive in feed rations was associated with more favorable concentrations of critical biomarkers during stress.

Including this additive in a sound nutritional program can help support gut health at critical times in a calf’s life and is essential to mitigating the negative consequences of stress in your dairy cattle.

To learn more, talk to your Fortiva representative, visit the Fortiva website or check out Exhibition Hall, Booth #1505-1507.

New mixing tips aim to save time, reduce waste

Bovine Hoof Adhesives easy-fix mixing tips are designed with the latest mixing technologies known in the two-component adhesive industry. They ensure a perfect mixture and uplifted performance of your adhesive system, while reducing waste to get more applications out of a cartridge.

Save water with soaker sensor

Recently, VES-Artex released the Intelligent Soaker 2.0. This innovative system changes the way farmers can utilize their soakers. Utilizing sensors, timed parameters and a sophisticated algorithm, soaking is powered on and off based on the presence of a cow. This is a great option for farmers looking to save money on operating costs – studies have shown up to 70% water usage reduction. It has an easy installation process and is compatible with most existing systems. It also features a cow-friendly LED light on the feed alley side of each wiring harness to indicate the performance status of their respective soaking nozzle. The soaker system was developed to assist dairy farms to be environmentally sustainable while mitigating heat stress and maximizing animal productivity. It helps dairies be responsible and steward resources wisely.

For more information, visit the VES-Artex website or check out the booth in the Exhibition Hall, Booth #3808/3909.
