What education are you bringing to this position?
I obtained a bachelor of science degree in agricultural economics fromPurdue University.
Please describe your agricultural background.
I grew up in the Central Valley of California raising dairy cattle and showing in 4-H and FFA. My parents own and operate Connor Marketing, Inc., a sales and marketing firm that represents many agricultural companies (most of which are related to the dairy industry).
What territory will you cover?
A national scope; we are the largest and oldest national nonprofit organization representing the entire animal agriculture industry.
What are your new responsibilities?
As membership services manager for the Animal Agriculture Alliance, I’m responsible for building our membership base by recruiting new members to the organization as well as strengthening and engaging with our current members. Additionally, I manage the organization’s educational outreach, “Adopt A Teacher,” program.
What previous positions have you held?
I worked for the National FFA Organization as a trainer and team leader for their student leadership development conferences throughout the year, as well as their premier leadership conference in Washington D.C. – the Washington Leadership Conference.
What excites you most about working in your new role?
I’m excited to communicate to others the importance of the work of our organization and talk to individuals across the food chain that could benefit from the resources that we offer.
How will you be of most help to producers in your region or area of expertise?
Growing up in the dairy industry, I have an unwavering appreciation for dairy producers. I look forward to helping producers understand the importance of farm awareness and security in their operations and communicating how the Alliance can help them do so.

I’m passionate about the work we do and the positive impact it has on our members. Also, the staff is great to work with; we are an enthusiastic and vibrant staff passionate about animal agriculture and the issues that matter to our members.
What goals would you like to accomplish while in this position?
I would like to continue to grow our membership and remain focused on building relationships and serving the membership. PD
