Besides featuring more than 250 display and information booths, the show, presented by Farm Credit Canada, includes large farm machinery exhibit and seminars for berry growers, greenhouse growers, dairy producers, potato growers and organic growers. A dairy farm tour will happen the day before the show, Jan. 29. The tour includes eight dairy farms in the Fraser Valley-Lower Mainland, featuring the latest computerized dairy technology.
 
The 56th annual Growers Short Course will feature economist and futurist Dr. Jay Lehr, who combines a deep understanding of both science and economics in describing the impact of advancing technologies on the local, regional, national and global economies.

The BC Dairy Show, currently being organized, is scheduled for Jan. 30, while the 12th annual Agri-Food industry Gala will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 29 in the Ramada Plaza and Conference Centre in Abbotsford.
