Attendees will have the opportunity to visit with more than 400 vendors from 27 states and Australia, in more than 175,000 square feet of exhibit space – and have a chance to win from a selection of more than $5,000 in prizes and giveaways.
“The show staff is excited about the new and exciting activities and seminars that are coming to the 2013 Wichita Falls Ranch & Farm Expo,” says Darren Dale, show manager.
Admission and parking are free to the public.
Scott Daily Horse Training Demonstrations, sponsored by Quality Implement, will be held at the expo both days this year.
Daily's love for horses and desire to train them began in 4-H while he was growing up in Inola, Oklahoma. Daily started training horses about 15 years ago. After many years of working with challenging colts and horses, Daily has developed and perfected his own techniques based on building trust between horse and rider.
Also visiting the show will be three-time world champion bareback rider Will Lowe, who will be signing autographs in the corporate sponsors' booths.
The expo will feature a live production bull sale March 6, with 30-plus lots of high quality breeding bulls. There will be a special reception prior to the bull sale.
Texas A&M’s AgriLife Extension will be providing Continuing Education Units (CEU) for Oklahoma and Texas producers through speakers and seminars, including new women's seminars. For more information on the CEU credits or to sign up, contact Fred Hall, County Extension Agent at (940) 716-8610.
