- Exploring where feeder cattle will come from by Derrell Peel, livestock marketing economist at Oklahoma State University
- From labor to feed ingredients to marketing — a panel discussion among feedlot manager colleagues.
- Positive communication with the public (in Garden City with Temple Grandin, professor at Colorado State University; in Omaha with Janet Riley, senior vice president in public affairs, American Meat Institute).
Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m., with programs wrapping up at 4:15 p.m. Registration is $50 until Aug. 2, and $75 after.
