Mark Eisele, WSGA’s 51st president, was replaced by Jim Wilson of Thermopolis, Wyoming. Wilson, along with several new regional vice presidents, will serve for two years.
New regional vice presidents include Niels Hansen, first vice president, while Scott Sims, Dustin Cushman and Joe Nield will serve as vice presidents for Regions 2-4, respectively.
Both industry and government leaders attended the convention, including Wyoming Gov. Matt Mead, Sens. Mike Enzi and John Barrasso, Rep. Cynthia Lummis and MNBA President Scott George.
The Endangered Species Act, Farm Bill and immigration were all topics of discussion.
At the grand reopening of the Wyoming Stock Growers Agricultural Resource Center, WSGA welcomed members and agriculture-related organizations.
The office complex houses the Wyoming Livestock Agricultural Land Trust, Wyoming Beef Council and the Wyoming Stock Growers Association.
