Badgerland Financial, Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation and UW Cooperative Extension have announced an expanded conference agenda for their second annual Wisconsin Ag Women’s Summit, to be held April 27-28, 2012, at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells. The agenda includes not only one – but two – keynote presenters, including Kevin Hall and Paul Wesselmann. Hall, an acclaimed business consultant, coach and bestselling author of Aspire, will present “Transform Your Life through the Power of Words” and help attendees discover the inherent power of key words that function as passwords for unlocking purpose and potential. Wesselmann, aka The Ripples Guy, will explore actions to get more out of work, school, family and life through his presentation “GREAT Expectations: Five Awesome Actions for Success in Work & Life.” His weekly inspirational email RIPPLES is read by more than 27,000 subscribers around the world.
Also new in 2012 are even more breakout sessions and opportunities to learn and network. Attendees will have the opportunity to choose from 11 diverse breakout topics such as incorporating farm financial information into the fabric of farm life, organizing and retaining tax and farm records information, selecting the “right” farm business arrangement, keeping children safe on the farm, building hometown prosperity and community development, social media, managing burnout and improving time management skills and developing a lifetime fitness plan. Back by popular demand with an all-new show is Piano Fondue dueling pianos to provide the Friday evening entertainment.
Registration is $115 per person if received on or before Feb. 27. Registrations received after that date will increase to $140 per person. The final registration deadline is April 23. Reduced room rates are also available through the Kalahari Resort for reservations made on or before March 2.
