Two collaborative research and extension teams, which include faculty from Washington State University, University of Idaho, USDA-ARS, University of Florida, University of Missouri, Colorado State University, Ohio State University and Cornell, will be offering a dairy cattle genomics workshop on Oct. 2 in Madison, Wisconsin.

Topics to be discussed include:
  • Genomics, fertility and health – Research updates
    • J. Dalton, University of Idaho, and G. Schuenemann, Ohio State University
  • Where do we go from here?
    • D. Moore, Washington State University

Who should attend?

  • Dairy producers and managers, veterinarians, allied industry and extension faculty. Experience with genomics is not required.
