Please describe your agricultural background.
I grew up on a dairy farm in Pennsylvania.
What territory will you cover?
I will be covering the mid-Atlantic including New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, Rhode Island, New Jersey and Virginia.
What are your new responsibilities?
I will be a territory sales manager, providing Van Beek products to the producers in my area.
What excites you most about working in this new role?
I am looking forward to selling Van Beek’s natural product line to dairy farmers.
How will you be of most help to producers in your region or area of expertise?
Good health is in prevention. I will help producers prevent disease in their cattle with natural alternative products, in order to reduce the need for antibiotics.
What previous positions have you held?
I have been previously employed as a technical sales representative for Bayer Animal Health Corporation and as a territory manager for Keystone Corporation.
Why did you choose this company?
Van Beek Natural Science makes excellent products that work very well.
What’s your best story from the first day on the job?
I was excited to see that the dairy farmers were glad that prevention products were part of our product offering, not just treatment products.
What goals would you like to accomplish while in this position?
I would like to increase sales and help producers have healthier dairy cows in my territory. PD
