What territory will you cover?
Eastern and central U.S.
What are your new responsibilities?

What previous positions have you held?
Prior to joining Arm & Hammer Animal Nutrition, I worked in a variety of technical and leadership positions with Monsanto Dairy Business, AGWAY, Inc., CPG Nutrients, Land O’Lakes Purina Feed and, most recently, Alpharma Animal Health.
What excites you most about working in your new role?
One current challenge we face as an industry is becoming better environmental stewards – it impacts how we feed cows. The industry is in the midst of a paradigm shift in the way rations are formulated.
Producers and nutritionists alike are starting to look at ration protein levels and balancing rations for lysine and methionine – which allows for significantly lower crude protein use; resulting in a net positive environmental impact. This paradigm shift – through the use of tools such as MEGAMINE-L Rumen Bypass Lysine – makes more sense from both an economic and environmental standpoint.
How will you be of most help to producers in your region or area of expertise?
My role on the technical services team utilizes my education, training, and field experience in dairy management to support our field service staff and the dairy operations we serve. Furthermore, the skills I have acquired throughout my career are used each day and allow me to better succeed in this position. All of these experiences help me to work well with producers, nutritionists, herd veterinarians and other members of a dairy’s management team and provide an opportunity for us to improve many aspects of the dairy operation.
