I earned a bachelor’s degree in business and communications at Boise State University.
Please describe your agricultural background.
I come from a ranching background with experience in all facets of large animal health, including cattle, equine and dairy.
What territory will you cover?
Northwestern U.S.
What are your new responsibilities?
At Advanced Animal Diagnostics (AAD), I’m responsible for all sales activities in the region, with an emphasis on educating customers and prospects about the benefits of on-farm diagnostic technologies. I’ll also work with beef producers as the company develops additional livestock diagnostic tests.
What previous positions have you held?
Most recently, I was a cattle and equine territory business manager of the Idaho and eastern Oregon region for Zoetis.
What has made the biggest impact on your career?
Technological advancements and healthier, more efficient animals are key to the growth and success of the animal health industry for future generations, and have made the biggest impact during my career in the industry.
How will you be of most help to producers in your region or area of expertise?
I help producers successfully learn about and integrate new on-farm diagnostic technologies and processes that enhance milk quality, improve animal health and increase profitability.
Why did you choose this company?
I joined AAD for the opportunity to be on the ground floor of a very progressive company that will change the face of the animal health industry. It’s exciting that AAD has introduced diagnostic technology to the livestock industry that has been used in humans and companion animals for decades.
What goals would you like to accomplish while in this position?
My goal is to educate customers and help integrate our new technologies to help improve animal health, profitability and sustainability within the animal health industry for our future generations. PD
