The Council on Dairy Cattle Breeding (CDCB) will be hosting its 2015 industry meeting on Sept. 29 at the Madison Marriott West Hotel and Conference Center in Middleton, Wisconsin. Dairy farmers and representatives from all sectors of the dairy breeding industry are welcome to attend in connection with the World Dairy Expo activities.

The program (posted below) consists of an initial update on CDCB progress and plans ahead, and two discussion panels, one addressing the status of dairy cattle breeding research in the U.S. and the other celebrating the landmark of 1 million genotypes and reflecting how genomics reshaped the dairy industry. All those interested in participating are requested to complete an online preregistration form prior to attending. The deadline to register is Sept. 18 at midnight EST. PD
