What education are you bringing with you to this position?
I got involved in robotic milking in 2001 when the market was just getting started. From being a dairy manager on a robotic milking farm, robotic milking service and working for a robotic dealer overseas, I have gained years of experience and education of automated milking from all the levels of the industry.

What are your new responsibilities?
My primary role will be supporting robotic milking sales for GEA throughout the U.S.
What previous positions have you held?
Currently, I still own my small robotic milking consulting business called RMIS, which I have operated for the last five years. Prior to that, I was the farm technical manager for Carr Agriculture Group in Ashburton, New Zealand.
Who has made the biggest impact on your career?
The farmers, dealers and companies who supported my previous small business and helped grow my involvement in the robotic milking industry.
How will you be of most help to producers in your region or area of expertise?
Taking my 15 years of experience in the automated milking industry, I look forward to helping dairy producers with the decision-making process and implementation of a robotic system, fully supporting them as they transition to a new milking routine.
