Progressive Publishing’s consistent and positive contributions to the dairy and beef industry were recognized by Alltech Idaho at the Alltech North American Lecture Tour in Twin Falls on Feb. 26. This year’s Industry Advocate Award was received by Progressive Dairyman Editor Walt Cooley.
“Alltech is honored to recognize Progressive Publishing for their outstanding contributions to the industry,” said Cam McKenzie, Alltech regional sales manager.
“Their Proud to Dairy campaign, quality articles and proactive information supplied through the monthly issues and online newsletters give relevant information to those in agriculture. Progressive’s dedicated editors provide us with a wealth of knowledge and we thank them for their service.”
Cooley said that both he and Progressive Cattleman Editor David Cooper are grateful for the recognition.

The Alltech North America Lecture tour was held in 23 locations across the U.S. and drew around 2,500 attendees this year. The tour explored the latest advances in nutritional technologies and ideas for keeping agricultural leaders operations efficient, profitable and sustainable. PD
