What education are you bringing with you to this position?
I graduated in May from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a bachelor’s degree in animal sciences.
Please describe your agricultural background.
During college, I gained a lot of experience in working with veterinarians at the UW – Madison Large Animal Teaching Hospital.
What territory will you cover?
I will work with dairy and livestock farms throughout central Wisconsin.
What are your new responsibilities?
I will work closely with dairy producers to provide nutrition consulting to ensure top-quality herd health and cow comfort while maximizing production.
What previous positions have you held?
As a student, I worked at the UW – Madison Large Animal Teaching Hospital, caring for animals during treatment and surgery recovery and doing general chores. I also worked as a material handler for Marathon Cheese Corporation.
How will you be of most help to producers in your region or area of expertise?
I’ll work closely with my fellow Vita Plus consultants and technical services team to bring fresh solutions to producers in addition to quality products. PD
