Alltech Roadshow examines mycotoxin impact at World Dairy Expo

Join the Alltech Mycotoxin Roadshow at World Dairy Expo. Featured speakers are Dr. Johanna Fink-Gremmels of Utrecht University and Dr. Max Hawkins, Alltech mycotoxin management team nutritionist.

Fink-Gremmels will take an in-depth look at the role mycotoxins play in the health and performance of dairy cows, while Hawkins will provide an overview of the mycotoxin management program, designed to help producers safeguard the quality of their feedstuffs and the health of their animals.

Presentations will take place in the Madison Room, located in the Exhibition Hall on Wednesday, Sept. 30 (9 a.m., 1 p.m., 3:30 p.m.) and Thursday, Oct. 1 (8:30 a.m.).

Visitors to booth #EH 3201-3304 at World Dairy Expo will also have the opportunity to learn more about how the mycotoxin management program can assist in reducing mycotoxin risks on-farm while improving herd performance and profitability.

Bio-Vet to host drawing

To promote its post-calving program (21 days pre- to 100 days post-calving) utilizing QuadriCal calcium boluses, RumenAider capsules and Generator Ultra direct-fed microbial, Bio-Vet will conduct a drawing during World Dairy Expo 2015.

Booth visitors may sign up for this drawing at the company’s booth located in the Exhibition Hall (1503-1504), and one winner will be chosen in each of three herd size categories: less than 250 cows, 250 to 999 cows, and 1,000 or more cows.
