More than $250,000 in scholarships and other awards recently were given to veterinary students and graduate veterinarians at the 2013 annual conference of the American Association of Bovine Practitioners in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The awards, funded by AABP members, partners and its foundation, will enable recipients to further pursue careers in bovine medicine.
Live and silent auctions, a first-ever raffle, member donations and an inaugural 5K Stampede fun-run combined to raise more than $60,000 for the Amstutz Scholarship Fund, named for the late Dr. Harold E. Amstutz. Veterinary and graduate student award recipients are as follows:Amstutz Scholarships
