What education are you bringing with you to this position?
I graduated from the University of Minnesota – Crookston in May of 2013 with a degree in agricultural business. While at UMC, I participated in a class designed specifically for dairy marketing, which gave me the opportunity to better understand dairy markets.
Please describe your agricultural background.
I grew up in west central Minnesota, near Glenwood, where agriculture is a way of life. Although I did not grow up on a dairy farm, I have enjoyed helping with tasks on my grandparents and relatives dairy farms.

What are your new responsibilities?
My primary responsibility is working with dairy producers to manage feed and milk price volatility by developing and executing personalized marketing strategies to assist with managing farm profitability.
What previous positions have you held?
I worked as a salesman of John Deere equipment for Midwest Machinery. This position provided a great opportunity to work with farmers. I find great satisfaction in creating relationships with people in the industry and aiding producers with the tools they need to be successful.
Who has made the biggest impact on your career?
My family has had a huge impact on my career choices and the path I find myself on today. Throughout my life, I have seen goals met with successful outcomes in the agricultural field and find myself striving for that feeling of gratitude in my career.
If I had to choose one person who helped me decide on a career path it would be Margot Rudstrom. She was one of my professors in the Agricultural Business Department at the University of Minnesota Crookston.
How will you be of most help to producers in your region or area of expertise?
I am passionate and excited to help dairy producers manage their financial risk and work with their network to better understand their operations. I see a tremendous opportunity to give dairy producers the ease of mind they need to manage price volatility, both on the revenue and expense side of the business.
Why did you choose this company?

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
