After 27 years as marketing and promotions coordinator for the nonprofit Allied Milk Producers’ Cooperative Inc. (AMPC), 84-year-old Dorothy Naugle is stepping down.
Before she could say her goodbyes, however, Naugle was given a service award by Janet Harding, former executive director of the Pennsylvania Dairy Princess and Promotion Services Inc., on behalf of that group for Naugle’s help over the years with dairy princesses. She is the first to receive the award in Somerset County, according to a report by Sandra Lepley in the Daily American.
Among her career highlights include creating billboard ads, including those featuring AMPC’s famous mouse.
Reigns of her Johnstown, Pennsylvania, job are being passed to good hands. Naugle’s replacements are Eva Strang of Johnstown and Paige Friedline of Jenner Township. PD
