Madison, Wisconsin-based BouMatic, a dairy equipment and chemical manufacturer, has named GÜnter Korthauer as the company’s director of Technical Services.

He will be responsible for a regional team in Europe and Asia, and charged with leading dealer technical support, ensuring delivery of quality technical solutions to field issues, managing large dairy projects worldwide and leading installation efforts at the company.

Korthauer joined BouMatic in April 2013 as its Dairy Solutions manager, overseeing Europe.

He focused on developing standard layout templates and tools to support the company’s sales team in planning, selling and installing systems and upgrades.

Korthauer grew up on a dairy farm and brings 30 years of experience working in the milking equipment business. He holds a degree from a high school renowned for its program for top professional metal and electrical processing technicians.

At a previous company, Korthauer was responsible for large projects as technical manager. His experience includes developing technical specifications, guiding an installation team and commissioning the completed installation to the customer. PD
