Animart Inc. announced the completion of the acquisition process of Michigan Veterinary Supply (MVS) of Vermontville, Michigan, a leading animal health supplier to Michigan dairies.
MVS has served Michigan dairy producers for the last 40 years. Over this period of time they have developed long lasting relationships based on excellent service, dependability and a passion for producer’s success.
Producers rely on MVS for great service in delivering a range of animal health products. The joining of MVS with Animart will provide a larger range of products to current customers in addition to providing access to innovative technologies including Track a Cow activity monitoring system and AIM, an on-farm inventory control system.
In addition Animart will roll out new services to MVS producers such as downer cow training and protocols, product consumption budgets and customized herd health protocols.
“Together Animart and MVS will continue to build on the excellent service many producers have relied upon over the past 40 years. In addition, we will provide a broader line of product options at competitive prices along with innovative veterinary services dedicated to our customer’s success,” commented Dan Ellsworth, president of Animart Inc.
“From our perspective, Animart made the perfect fit for our organization to continue a high level of service and assist the producers we have come to know as friends,” Moe Jackson, president of MVS added.
“By joining forces together, producers who have partnered with us in the past will find the same level of passion for their success from this new business structure.” PD
