Capital Farm Credit (CFC) has joined forces with Tootie Ilse and Agri-Insurance LLC of Hondo, Texas, to expand its product line to farmers and ranchers in The Lone Star State. Capital's newest offering will bring crop insurance products designed to protect farmers and ranchers in multi-peril, hail, rainfall and livestock price protection markets.
Ilse and his wife, Lynn, have been involved in the crop insurance industry since 1986, and are well known to producers in the Winter Garden/South Texas and Brazos areas. Under the couple’s leadership, CFC looks forward to the opportunity to offer these services to its borrowers in these areas, as well as the opportunity to prudently expand the services into its other markets.
“We look forward to Tootie joining Capital’s management team and working with his staff to expand the crop insurance products to a larger area and customer base," said CEO Ben Novosad. "This opportunity affirms our commitment to offer products designed to mitigate some of the inherent risks to farming and ranching operations,”
Ilse and his team will continue to operate from Agri-Insurance’s location in Hondo, Texas. PD
