DeLaval is introducing two new on-farm teat dip dispensing solutions designed to dilute concentrated chemicals and dispense fresh teat dip on demand with reliable accuracy regardless of fluctuations in water pressure. The convenience of these systems can help save time and labor – and potentially reduce the footprint of teat dip product at the dairy.

Furthermore, using teat dip concentrates means significantly less water has to be shipped to the dairy – a positive result for the environment.

The DeLaval TD Manual Dispensing System is ideal for dairies looking for an easy, economical way to dilute concentrated teat dip at a push of a button. The system can directly fill cups or buckets with teat dip and requires only a connection to water; no electricity or air is needed.

The DeLaval TD Automatic Dispensing System functions as a “pump-to-gun” system and works best for dairies requiring the flexibility of dispensing properly diluted teat dip concentrate straight from the milk house to the parlor at the dilution rate that works best for their application.

The automatic dispensing system contains a three-fourths gallon holding tank to provide “on demand” dispensing without wasting product. It can be used in a spray or foam application as well as to fill teat dip cups. PD
