What education are you bringing with you to this position?
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville in May of 2011 with a degree in animal science with emphases in dairy and science.
Please describe your agricultural background.
I grew up in Dodgeville, Wisconsin, on my parent’s 250-cow dairy farm. While growing up I was very active in 4-H and FFA. I also showed and judged dairy cattle.
What territory will you cover?
I am based out of the U.S. office in Madison, Wisconsin, and provide assistance to our sales staff all over the country.
What are your new responsibilities?
In my new role I am responsible for advertising and promotional campaigns, as well as overall marketing for the U.S. office.
What previous positions have you held?
After graduating from college, I began working for Genex in southwest Wisconsin where I was a breeding program specialist.
How will you, in your new role, be of most help to dairy producers?
I will be able to use my knowledge of working in the field to help market our products and services in a way that will be attractive to dairy producers.
Why did you choose this company?
CRV immediately appealed to me because of their global influence and the great people to work with. I liked the idea of a worldwide company because of the doors it opens to dairy producers with the selection of genetics that becomes available.
What goals would you like to accomplish while in this position?
I would like to expand my knowledge of marketing while helping expand the territory and brand recognition of CRV. PD
