ATG is launching the new Galaxy-branded bias-ply tire in 22 sizes to make it simpler for customers to choose the best tire for their needs.
“The Galaxy EarthPRO 45 is a great quality bias tire for farmers in a high-quality, cost-effective package,” says Bruce Besancon, vice president of marketing for Alliance Tire Americas (ATA). “The 45-degree angle of the tread lugs maximize traction and self-cleaning in the field, and because they are longer than 23-degree lugs, put more rubber on the ground for a more comfortable ride. A wide nose bar also helps ensure smoother performance and longer service life on gravel and pavement.”
E-Z Trail’s all-new “Lickety-Split” Hay Hauler
E-Z Trail releases a new hauler featuring two side-by-side 37-foot cradles without hydraulics or electronics that can unload up to 18 bales and spring back automatically to the latch position.
Cradle width and spacing distance between cradles is easily and quickly adjustable to perfectly fit various sizes of round or square bales, while maintaining minimal overall width. The hauler is available in two styles: all-wheel-steer $8,760, or gooseneck $10,695.
AGCO introduces Challenger 1000 Series tractors at fall farm shows
AGCO introduces an entirely new category of tractors to North American agribusiness operations, the Challenger 1000 Series tractors. Designed to deliver lower cost of ownership per acre and advanced connectivity, they are available in four powerful models ranging from 396- to 517-engine horsepower.
Producers will get their first look at the tractors during the 2016 Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa, Aug. 30-Sept.1, and they will also appear at Big Iron in West Fargo, N.D., and at Husker Harvest Days in Grand Island, Neb.
These tractors combine the power of a small-frame, articulated 4-wheel drive with the flexibility and speed of a lighter-weight, fixed-frame row crop machine.
Key to the new Series is the entirely new AccuDrive powertrain concept and an upgraded stepless CVT transmission, which provide the tractors with both their power and flexibility.
Add to this the tractor’s full suite of on-board technology and an all-new, comfort-focused cab, and these tractors are a single solution for today’s high horsepower needs, from planting and heavy tillage or row crop work to harvesting and on-road hauling up to 31 mph.
