In a recent online poll, Progressive Forage Grower asked, “Have you tried the new LED lights on your implements?”

Eight percent said that they have tried LED lights, but they are not convinced that it’s better. Another 36 percent said they have also tried the lights and they don’t know why they waited so long to switch.

With a combined vote of 56 percent, those who have not tried LED lights won the majority. Ten percent said, somewhat sarcastically, “So, LED – does that mean ‘lost every dime’?” Twenty percent simply isn’t convinced that there's any advantage to switching lights.

Lastly, 26 percent said that they are open to trying LED lights, but they are planning to switch when the halogens burn out.  FG
