Prior to joining Barenbrug, Schneider helped JB expand the scope of their sod and grass seed business throughout the Northwest, serving both the wholesale landscape and retail trade.

Through established local sod farm relationships, JB services eight states for major retailers and is a member of the nationwide Harmony Turfgrass group.

Schneider grew up in rural Illinois and received his Bachelor of Science in Finance and also completed commercial flight training. Fulfilling his dream to be a pilot, Schneider flew airplanes for SkyWest Airlines from 2000 to 2002. In 2002, Schneider made a career shift and started with JB as sales manager.

Schneider currently lives outside of Salem, Oregon, with his wife and their two children.  FG
