“Alltech’s mycotoxin hotline has already received numerous phone calls from producers across the U.S. this year,” said Swamy Haladi, Alltech mycotoxin management team.

“Not only have we been able to assist with their individual challenges, we have also been able to share some surprising results on this year’s crop from our 37+ Program analysis.”

Alltech’s 37+ Program uses a mass spectrometry technique, LC-MS2, that can investigate over 38 different mycotoxins quantitatively in less than 15 minutes per sample analyzed, with limits of detection in the parts per trillion range.

Results from the 37+ analysis should be released soon, according to Haladi.

The number for the mycotoxin hotline is (866) 322-3484.  FG
