More than 40 seminars will be offered in beef, dairy, hay and forage, international trade, irrigation and general agriculture categories. Seminars presented by professionals in the industry provide attendees with valuable information to improve their operations.

"Not only do buyers and sellers come together at World Ag Expo to do business, but agricultural producers also attend the show to expand their knowledge of agricultural issues, production methods and international trade," said Jerry Sinift, World Ag Expo's Chief Executive Officer.

For the second year, a 20,000 square foot pavilion will be dedicated to the beef and livestock industries. Producers in those fields are encouraged to visit Pavilion D for beef and livestock seminars and live cattle demonstrations. Equine first aid, cattle handling and cow dog training are just a few of the topics to be covered in Pavilion D.

Attendees can get the latest news, information and updates about World Ag Expo by downloading the new for 2012 mobile app for iPhone and Android platforms. The free app provides mobile access to the schedule of events, an exhibitor directory, map of the show grounds and other visitor resources. The app will be available for download by visiting the iTunes store or Android Marketplace, search for "World Ag Expo".

World Ag Expo's Entertainment Pavilion will provide entertainment for exhibitors, attendees and the community throughout the three-day span of the Expo. On Tuesday, February 14, country music artist Trace Adkins will headline Concerts for a Cause. Joining Trace is Brett Eldredge and local country group, Chaparral. Proceeds from the concert will benefit agricultural education on a local, state and national level.

The Ag Warriors Gala on February 15 will feature President George W. Bush and the 82nd Airborne Division's All American Chorus. The Gala will help returning veterans secure training and careers in the agriculture industry.

The International Agri-Center has joined forces with California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo; California State University, Fresno; College of the Sequoias and West Hills College Coalinga to develop plans to assist service-members seeking training in the agricultural field.

On the final day of the show, Thursday, February 16, the Airoso family will celebrate 100 years of dairying by hosting a dairy cattle auction in the Entertainment Pavilion. The auction will be the first animal sale in the history of World Ag Expo.

The Airosos will commemorate the century milestone by showcasing 25 to 30 head of their registered Holstein breeding stock at the auction. In addition to their own animals, there will be another 70 guest consignments from throughout the United States and Canada.
