What are your new responsibilities?
I’m a genetic adviser and sales representative and my work consists of advising and servicing my customers in order to help them achieve long-term sustainable profits.

What territory will you cover?
My territory is known as HOB (Howick, Ormstown, Beauharnois) with the addition of some customers in the Montérégie area.

Please describe your agricultural background.
I’ve owned and operated a small Jersey farm for three years and prior to that I worked for Valacta for four years.

What education are you bringing with you to this position?
I’m a graduate of the Nicolet Agriculture School.

What previous positions have you held?
I worked with another A.I. organization as a representative for 15 months and as mentioned previously I have also worked for Valacta in Quebec for four years.

Who has made the biggest impact on your career?
Dominique Nault, formally employed at TAG, has transmitted his passion for bovine genetics to me.

How will you be of most help to producers in your region or area of expertise?
I will be of help by answering my customer’s needs and helping them reach their goals as rapidly as possible.

Why did you choose this company?
ABS is the largest bovine genetic company in the world and their philosophy and values are directly in line with mine.

What goals would you like to accomplish while in this position?
My goals are simple. I hope that all the dairy farmers that I will have the privilege to work with will be proud of being part of the ABS and St-Jacobs ABC family.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I see myself as being one of the pillars for the ABS Canada team.  PD
