In a recent online poll, Progressive Cattleman asked, “How concerned are you about beef exports under the Trump administration?”
There was just a 1 percent difference between readers who were “somewhat concerned” versus “very concerned” about beef exports under the Trump administration. Thirty-one percent said they were, “Somewhat concerned. Our trade deals will require tricky negotiations.” Another 30 percent said they were, “Very concerned. We cannot afford to be too protectionist.”
These two opinions total to be 61 percent of the vote, leaving 39 percent of the vote to the unconcerned readers, who said, “No concern. U.S. beef will always be in high demand.”
