Attendees will have the opportunity to visit more than 400 vendors from 27 states and Australia in more than 175,000 square feet of exhibit space. There also will be more than $5,000 in prizes and giveaways.
“It will be the premier livestock and farm equipment show in the U.S., but that’s not all; there is something for everyone,” says Show Manager Darren Dale.
The show, which will include free admission and parking, will include a couple of celebrity rodeo guests: World champion steer wrestlers Mickey Gee and Hunter Cure.
Scott Daily horse training demonstrations will be held at the expo both days. After many years of working with challenging colts and horses, Daily developed and perfected his own techniques. The event is sponsored by Attebury Grain LLC and Quality Implement Co. (QIC).
The expo will feature a live production bull sale, also sponsored by QIC, at 1 p.m. March 6 in the JS Bridwell arena. Bulls will be on hand to view both days starting at noon March 5.
Texas A&M’s AgriLife Extension will provide Continuing Education Units (CEU) for Oklahoma and Texas producers through speakers, seminars and demonstrations. For more information on the credits or to sign up, contact David Graf, county extension agent, by email or at (940) 716-8610.
