“The new office is in a highly visible prime location and will be seen by visitors coming to the city as well as beef industry professionals working in the area,” said ABHA President Joe Hoagland. The new office is located at 719 Walnut Street in the center of downtown Kansas City, just north of the Power & Light District and close to the city’s convention and hotel district. 

The space includes three private officers, a conference room, a photography and design area, file space and a reception area.  Under the direction of CEO Dr. Craig Ludwig, additional staff will be added as needed.  Don Askey, former controller of S&S Meats, has been named director of accounting.

A grand opening is planned for Friday, Oct. 28 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. during the American Royal Livestock Show. Visitors are welcome. Ample parking is available in surfaces lots on the north and south sides of the building.
