While readers could select more than one form of hay, readers indicated they predominately feed round bales. Large square bales, small square bales and haylage were not nearly as popular.

Haylage received only 5.3 percent of the vote. Large square bales received 12.2 percent of the vote. And small square bales did slightly better with 17.5 percent of the vote.
