Agri-Service LLC announced on June 11 that the company's board of directors has unanimously appointed Cale Sledge as president effective June 3, 2024. Sledge most recently worked as the western U.S. regional sales director for Agco Corp. Agri-Service, a leading dealer of new and used Agco and allied vendor equipment, parts, service and technology, was founded in 1990 and has expanded to 12 stores, with more than 200 employees across Idaho and Washington.

Sledge has more than 16 years of experience supporting Agco customers and local dealer communities. Since 2017, Agri-Service has been at the core of his activities. Agco is a manufacturer of high-performance farming equipment like Fendt and Massey Ferguson tractors, and Hesston windrowers and balers, among several other brands and products. Along with leading Agco's West U.S. Fendt division, Sledge's previous roles include sales, dealer development, account management and marketing.

"On behalf of the Agri-Service board of directors, we are excited that Cale will be joining the team as our president," Tom Terteling, board chairman and CEO of Agri-Service, said. "Cale comes to us with a wealth of knowledge of our local agriculture market and our Agco products. He has lived and worked in our territory and understands our customers' needs. He has been an advocate for our customers and for the Agri-Service team. We have no doubt that Cale is ideally qualified to help move Agri-Service into our next era of customer service and marketplace success."

Sledge holds a master of business administration from Boise State University and a bachelor of business administration from Georgia College & State University. When he is not working, Sledge enjoys golfing, coaching youth sports and being outdoors with his family.

"This is a tremendous opportunity," Sledge said. "I have the utmost respect for the Agri-Service employees and customers for what they do every day. The future of Agri-Service is bright, and I am looking forward to being a part of that journey by serving our customers together."
