Grazing conditions are always a hot topic for producers throughout the year, and growing conditions vary year to year and across the country. Progressive Cattle asked readers, "How are grass conditions in your area looking for the rest of the grazing season?”

Just under half of respondents (45.8%) said their grass conditions were right where they needed them. The next-largest group (27.1%) says grazing throughout the end of the year are tight but doable. Almost 17% of respondents said they’d need to start feeding hay early, and the remaining 10.4% say they have too much grass to keep up with.
