Clear Technologies, LLC is a leading provider of Hydrogen Sulfide (H₂S) media for the biogas industry. We are pleased to introduce a high-performance H₂S reduction additive powder called Micronox; an alternative sulfur reduction product to Ferric Chloride.

Micronox is a listed product under the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) as an organic product. This H₂S sulfur reduction additive is being utilized at many Complete Mix Anaerobic Digesters in the U.S. and is widely used in Europe. Micronox is a mixture of naturally mined iron oxides-hydroxides and other functional oxides, which have been developed to be added directly to complete mix style of digester(s).

Micronox will internally reduce the H₂S to sulfur, allowing the sulfur to exit the digester in the digestate. The sulfur reduction additive is very efficient at reducing the effluent H₂S in the biogas by ~75%, resulting in competitive H₂S removal costs. This product has been the object of extensive preliminary studies with successful application in biogas plants.
