Cathleen Williams, associate professor in the Louisiana State University AgCenter School of Animal Sciences, has been named winner of the Land O’Lakes/Purina LLC Teaching Award in Dairy Production. The award is presented annually by the American Dairy Science Association to recognize outstanding teaching of undergraduate students in dairy science.


Williams, a native of Bogalusa, Louisiana, has been a member of the LSU AgCenter faculty since 1998.

She received a bachelor's degree from Louisiana State University in 1983, a master's from the University of Georgia in 1991 and a doctorate from Auburn University in 1998. PD
